What is Family Home Child Care?

Approved family home child care are care providers that offer child care in their homes through a licensed agency. The agency is licensed through the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD). The program is monitored through the DEECD and following rules and regulations that are required to be maintained.

Philosophy Statement

Our Family Home Child Care Agency believes that children learn through play, at an individual pace, when opportunities are made available. Activities to promote this include small and large manipulative activities, free play, structured activities, group time and outdoor play when suitable. Children need opportunities for interaction with other children and adults. The agency encourages interaction between children, care providers, parents, the agency and the community.
